NOISE AND VIBRATION \u200bEMISSION PERMIT<\/span>\n
\n
The\nAuthority may, on request grant a temporary permit not exceeding three months, allowing\nemission of noise in excess of established standards for such activities as\nfireworks, demolitions, firing ranges and specific heavy industry, on such\nterms and conditions as the Authority may determine.\n  \n
\n
Where\nan exemption has been granted under subsection (3) of the National Environment Act Cap 181, any person exposed to\nexcessive levels of noise shall be adequately\nprotected in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Authority.
