"Ensuring Sustainable Development"

NEMA trains Stakeholders on Sector Strategy for Organic Waste Management (SOWU)

The primary objective of this training is to build the technical capacity of stakeholders involved in the Sector Strategy for Organic Waste Management (SOWU) by providing hands-on expertise in the GAINS-Waste modeling framework. Through this training, participants are empowered to accurately estimate greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions and to identify cost-effective mitigation strategies aligned with sector-specific emission reduction targets.

This initiative is delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Water and Environment and generously supported by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition. It represents a cornerstone capacity-building activity under the SOWU project, reinforcing national efforts to advance sustainable waste management and environmental protection.
