World Environment Day – 2025

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), invites all stakeholders including individuals, organizations, institutions, businesses, and community groups to exhibit at World Environment Day (WED), 2025, under the theme “United Against Plastic Pollution.”

WED 2025 will focus on raising awareness, showcasing innovative solutions, and fostering action towards reducing plastic pollution in Uganda and will take place in Kabale District on June 5th, 2025. We welcome exhibitors working in:

  • Plastic waste management & recycling
  • Sustainable packaging solutions
  • Circular economy & plastic alternatives
  • Community-driven environmental initiatives
  • Eco-friendly products & green technologies
  • Etc.
